25th September 2025, St Nicolas Church, Cheltenham 14:30

 It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Ramona.

Ramona sadly passed away at Cheltenham General Hospital on the 30th of August 2025.

Much loved wife to Cordell.

Devoted mother to Barnaby & Florence.

Ramona will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place at St Nicolas Church, Swindon Lane, Cheltenham GL50 4PA

on Thursday 25th of September at 14:30pm.

Family Flowers Only Please.

Donations in memory of Ramona, in lieu of flowers, are gratefully received and will go to benefit Caring for Communities and People. These can be left in the retiring donations box at the end of the service or through the Alexander Burn Funeral Directors website.

St John the Baptist Church, Eldersfield

 

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Pat who died at Gloucester Royal Hospital on 31st August 2025 surrounded by her children.

A private funeral will be held at St John the Baptist Church in Eldersfield.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes, we would ask that instead of sending flowers, you donate to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Matthew Paul Jores

18th September 2025, Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel

With deep sadness, we share the passing of Matthew, who died at Gloucester Royal Hospital on 29th August 2025.

Cherished son of Polly and the late Ken, and a much-loved brother to Chris, Joe, Theo, Daniel and Mark, and honorary brother to Benjamin. Matthew will be remembered with love and will be deeply missed by his family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service to celebrate Matthew’s life will be held at Cheltenham Crematorium, Willow Chapel, on Thursday 18th September at 12:30pm.

Flowers or donations in Matthew’s memory are warmly welcomed. Flowers may be sent to Alexander Burn Funeral Directors, Cheltenham. Donations will support the charity SENSE and may be placed in the retiring collection at the service or made online.

For those who wish to join from afar, the service will also be available to watch via live stream. Details for accessing the stream will be provided through Alexander Burn Funeral Directors.

Sadly passed away on the 21st August 2025.
Aged 86 years.
Dearly loved wife of David.
A loving mum to Samantha and mother in law to Anthony.
A wonderful granny to Tom and Dan.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Passed away on Monday 25th August,
aged 85 years.

Devoted wife of John, much loved mother of Carolyn, Nicola (late) and Molly, adored grandmother of Daniel, George, Ruby, Olivia and Jasmine, great grandmother of Marnie and Margot.
